Tune
Hi,
I'm listed as a newbie (so be it); however, I've been in so many forums...you get the gist.
2014 CLS 550 bi turbo with 9k: I would like to find a tuner to improve performance to my car; yet, I'm also looking for a reasonable price (I don't want to pay someone mortgage for 6mos). I had my 2012 S550 bi turbo tuned prior to trading it. Car ran like a raped ape, mid range was insane.
Thanks, Joe b.

Speedriven, Eurocharged, maybe RT are all solid options. The main question you need to ask yourself is how far you want to go. If you need a re-tune later for add-on hardware, will you have to pay again? Will you need a re-tune for an exhaust? That kind of thing. If you're keeping the car 100% stock, otherwise, all the tuners will end up in more or less the same power area.

Thanks for the reply. Actually, I doubt if I would do anything other than a tune, just to get rid of the rev-limiter (RL). MB builds cars capable of making remarkable HP/TQ, and then they geld the car with 130mph RL. Yet, Audi's cars have a more reasonable RL at 150mph. I realize its a government thing...hey, we should appeal to Trump.
