CLS55 and CLS63 info!
translated from German:
"Beside the CLS 350 and CLS 500 (already officially confirmed) becomes still another CLS 350 CDI with approx.. 265 HP and 580 Nm appear. At the beginning of of 2005 comes then the AMG variant as CLS 55 AMG V8 compressor with 476 HP and 700 Nm. In the middle of 2006 becomes the CLS 55 AMG by the CLS 63 AMG (6.3 litres of V8-Saugmotor; M156) replaces. It is to carry likewise 476 HP out and make 600 Nm available. New 6.3 V8 M156 V8-M273 Benziner that is based approx. on the new Mercedes. will have 4.6 litres (employment date likewise not 2006 ago). The 63 AMG comes then likewise into M -, E -, S -, r-class as well as CLK, CL and SLK!"

Correct it is based on the 4.6 L motor.
BUT,
it provides 500bhp and 600NM, I can't imagine that engine even after detuning would go into the CLK/SLK. If it does...
That would be an ideal combo!
