2014 CLS550
Engine air intake hoses
Does anybody know if there is a alternate replacement for the engine air intake hoses? Item #2 in the attached photo.
These are miserable to remove in order to access the air filters. No flexibility whatsoever.
My W220 sedan had a plastic corrugated duct that easily collapsed for removal. I'd like to think this design is available for the C219.

Why dont you put relocate the filter to spot #2. but it will suck in hot air at low speed but more air at high speed
