Intermittent clicking/loose bolt noise in front passenger wheel well.
I thought it may be the suspension but it does not make this noise if i drive in a straight line without stopping, even if I do hit some bumps in the road no noise. It is primarily associated with braking. If this was the suspension wouldn't this noise be constant?
I took it to two mechanics one says its a control arm bushing the other is saying it is the air shock itself. The airshock seems fine it does not lose air and I didn't even think it had many moving parts to make such a noise. And if it was a control arm bushing wouldn't the noise be constant or atleast present itself when driving straight over a bump.
I live on a hill so I get to hear this noise every morning on the way down and it pretty much disappears once I reach level ground and try to show it to a local mechanic. Sorry for the essay wanted to make sure I was clear.
It could be this piece also: the one that keeps the spring in place. It`s a very cheap one, DYI job.
