New to the forums. Just got a 2006 CLS 500. One tire got a knot on the tread so I have to replace at least two. I wanted to get the widest tire possible on the factory rims. I was thinking of using the 255 40 18 in the front and the 285 35 18 in the rear Those are the AMG sizes but I noticed the rim offsets are slightly different. Anyone have issues with that size or can I go wider than that? Any help is appreciated

Yeah, and whining about it and insulting the group members is exactly the way to get help. You posted across a holiday weekend, so attendance is usually low. I had this same question 4 years ago, a quick search of the forum got my answer for me.
