front window issue
I have a 08 CLS. I used the front passenger window the other day (for the first time I think) and when tried to raise the window up again it stopped when it came to 60-70% and went down again, it did this twice when I just pulled and used the "automatic" window and then I had to pull and hold for the window do go all the way up and it sounded like if it was gravel inside the window mechanism. Is there any thing I can do as a man with limited experince?

100% your window regulator is gone.
I changed one recently. You will find that changing this is expensive... Best, if you think you can spare couple of hours and are handy buy it online, should be around 300-350 (sure you can find it more expensive but look around, dealerssell them cheaper). You will find instructions on the forum. At the shop .... expect 1000 at least.
