2018 CLS550 wheel/rim questions
I hope I am posting in the right section, I'm confused on whether the 2018 CLS550 4Matic is a C218 or C219...
Anyway, I am looking to put some aftermarket wheels on my car. The dealer was trying to sell me some crappy $200 wheels for over $800 a piece, and was giving me some pitch about how Mercedes can't use spacers so there are only a few manufacturers that I can purchase wheels from (since those manufacturers will make the wheels with the correct offset, not requiring any spacers).
I am pretty sure this is BS but I figured I would come here and ask you guys. Sites like CarID.com will not even let me select the 2018 CLS550 as as option when looking for wheels, so I am a bit confused on where to look.
Can anyone help me out with the correct specs I should be looking for (offset, bolt patterns etc) and whether or not I am able to use spacers? Also should I go with a staggered set up?
Lastly, can anyone recommend a good site for me to check out for some new rims? I am looking for something higher quality like Lexani or Asanti if possible, or something along those lines.
Thanks!
Edited to add this: CarID.com does let me select the 2017 CLS550 when looking for wheels. Does this have the same specs as the 2018? If so, then that means I could just order wheels for the 2017 and they will fit my 2018, correct?
