Have owned my 06 cls500 for nearly 9 years now, has 56k miles on it. When I pull up to a stop light and try to quickly take off again without coming to a complete stop the trans will kind of clunk into low gear when I press on the gas. It’s like it is a half second slow in shifting down to low. Other that that it drives flawlessly.
If this this is an electronically shifted trans could a “reflash” solve this glitch? The problem has been happening for many years and does not seem to be any worse or better as time goes by.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
