I thought that it was MB's policy to have 4Matic available on all cars, except AMGs and V-12s. I would think that that would apply to the CLS, too.

I'm thinking about getting a 500 4Matic...

it´s possible cuz the CLS and E-class have the same technical base, if there are enough people want some 4matic-stuff they will surely offer it.
