Heat build-up in floor between both front seats

Hi,

After driving about an hour with the air-conditioning on, I noticed heat build up on the raised floor portion (transmission housing) between both front seats.

Wondering whether this is normal when A/C is at near maximum setting on a warm day. Outside temperature during drive was about 25° C (77 °F).
After turning A/C off but continuing my drive, the heat heat noticably reducedafter about an hour.

Inputs would be appreciated.

I had the same issue once with mine to the point where the lower half of the center console felt extremely hot but it went away after like a day I would just keep an eye on it and take it in if it is persistent.

I also love in Phoenix Arizona so that might have been the reason
