Keyless Go issue
I have an 07 CLS550 with keyless go. I use the start/stop on the gear shift but I also have the start/stop button on the dash(ignition). I prefer to have the button in place because it looks better than the empty key hole, but my keyless open doesn't work properly when the button is plugged in. The doors don't recognize my key unless it's in my hand or I have to use the key fob, and that takes several presses. I have replaced the key fob batteries several times (before I noticed the correlation between the problem and the button) and reinitialized the remote by inserting the key into the ignition. Keyless go works perfectly until I plug the start/stop button back in. Is there anything I can do to fix this other than remove the button?

Ignition start button circuitry conflicts with existing keyless-go system since you have button on transmission shifter. Consider aftermarket blank i.e.: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/ABS-...ceBeautifyAB=0
