Help! What's this part? - window regulator repair
Hi. I've just been replacing the window regulator cables on the front passenger door. Fiddly operation but looking good... EXCEPT - I have a small spare part and can't figure out where it goes. Assuming it's part of the regulator system. It's serrated on one face and essentially flat on the other. It's about 45mm (just under 2") long. It's an adjuster block of some sort. Just can't see where it goes. I could just throw it in the door space and hope it finds its way home?! Hopefully pics I've attached help.

No pictures. Could it be motor damper?

window / door adjuster
Managed to load them this time. Now there's too many pictures, but can''t delete them. There's actually two pieces involved.

Hi. Yes - I've seen these videos. They're great. And I can follow the procedure without too much trouble. But there's no mention of the two little pieces that came out of the door. Maybe I'll just reinstall and see what goes wrong!
