2013 Lotus Evora
Battery tender rec & always-on cigarette plug
Hi all,
New here, first post, and I actually don't own a CLS. I'm actually researching this for family member. got three questions I'm hoping you guys can help me with:
1. In my Lotus Evora trunk there's an always-on cigarette plug that I can plug a battery tender into for long-term storage. Is there such a thing in the 2010 CLS? I saw in a thread that some fuses need to be set to switch between always on, but that wasn't a CLS specific thread.
2. Any recommendation for battery tender that would go well with CLS or just any generic. It looks like MB tenders are just rebranded C-Tek? On my own car I'm running a NOCO Genius.
3. It looks like there are 2 batteries in the car, one in front, and one in back. I've seen youtube video saying charge on the front only and warn against charging on the back, but have read threads on here that say charge on the back is ok. What's the final say in this?
Much your helps are appreciated!
