Random Front Airmatic Issue

Question. I was sitting in the car today and all of a sudden I feel the car shift. The front left side completely lost pressure and dropped down to the tire. What could be the possible causes for that happening out of the blue? The car never sags low. It's a 2009 CLS550

A seal broke somewhere and the strut lost pressure and feel to the ground. It happened to my car and most people that own our w219 car. That is because Airmatic is terrible. I became so frustrated that I ripped out all the suspension on 4 sides and put in coilovers. In your case, you can replace the strut. If you are handy, you can do it yourself. Good luck.

Thanks. Would replacing a seal be an option? Or is it something that can't be fixed and only replacing the strut?
