Trying to DIY oil change. Could not get all the oil out; still about 2.5 qts left.

Is there a physical structure down there, perhaps some type of baffle, that would prevent the suction tube from getting all the oil?

218 or, you can do it the old fashion way.

My thinking was that the dipstick obviously goes all the way down, so I used that length as a guide as to how far down my suction tube had to go. It looks like that was the right way to do it.

Any thoughts on how I still had about 2q of oil left in there?
