pics from the love mercedes event

this car has presence in real life. it looks spectacular. pictures can not possibly match its looks in real life. it has nice wide fender flares and has a mean, low-slung look with the cropped greenhouse. i woul dlike to see how the car looks with less grille bars though. my only gripe.

the interior is a study in details. i have never seen a mercedes interior so nicely done than the CLS interior. it seems that every detail has not been left untouched, from the button on the center console, to the door handles, to the stitching on the dashboard. absolutely brilliant.

the idea of the coupe looks nice from the outside, but from the inside the rear looks like a very tight fit. mabye the front seats were pushed too far back, but it looked like there was absolutely no leg room whatsoever. headroom too.

still, as a driver's car, the car looks awesome. it looks brilliant. did i say it looked beautiful? the only gripe i have when i see it in pictures is a droopy nose (know what i mean?) in real life, it looks perfect.

what r those things behind the front seats, are they air vents or speakers.

also would love to know more about the central console in the back seat in terms of what is in them

once again , i am sure pictures do not do it justice. i still do not like the looks of it and it still reminds me of Jaguar cars from the back

man, i just don't like the big gap in the wheel wells. I love the front end but I'm still not sold on the back end. Goes down like a Chevy Citation that runs into tailights that looks like they stold off a Buick.

Why did Benz slip in a Jaguar into their lineup? It is even British Racing Green. When was the last time you saw a new Benz in any other color than silver? Even the interior has that big hunk of wood from the Jag.

You know what, Jags are beautiful but they don't drive as well as Mercedes, so maybe this is a good idea.

I agree with the gap in the wheel wells...but I think they had the Airmatic in the raised mode...hopefully
