I have a 2005 320cdi CLS fitted OM 642.115K miles UK supply.
When I got the vehicle, the display showed convenience functions not working and the engine was slow to start up churning over for a few seconds before firing up then running fine.I noticed a slight misfire at between 4-5000 revs.
Diagnostics showed both batteries were low, so I replaced them, starting improved but recently the convenience functions not working display returned again, start up is still not crisp from cold, but fine when hot.
The limp home mode has cut in twice when under gentle acceleration, and can be easily be lost by flooring the accelerator.
Car has full history and gearbox oil change last year which makes me think this problem has been around for a while.
Problems has not shown up when car has been in for diagnostics,I am desperate, any help advice would be well received.Location Chichester,West Sussex UK.

I probably should have mentioned that my car is a Non Bluetec . With that being said would my system have the aforementioned exhaust gas pressure sensor? I have found OEM part numbers as well as the Bosch 10-digit part number but most of those mentioned it being a u42 system which seems to indicate or reference the DEF fluid heater system.
