New 4valve 5.5L V8 for the CLS???????????
I red the CLS will be the first to get the new 4valve 5.5L V8 (Motortrend and Road and Track). Anybody know when? Any omre info?

no it won´t!
the CLS500 and the 55AMG got the good old 3valve. the first motor of the new generation (4valves) was lauched in the SLK350. i think new V8-engines will come with the new s-class (W221) really not earlier.

Yesterday, I red an article in the "Motor und Sport" magazine that also suggested the S-Class will get it first at the 2005 Frankfurt Auto Show. I was hopping earlier! But then again all the magazines were suggesting that the the CLS would get it first!
