has anyone used this tool to reset the sbc unit on a CLS? i see it is for the w211 but both w219 and w211 use the same sbc syatem as well as many other parts, i have an sbc problem but i am still looking for a solution and i would like to have this as a temporary fix until i find a place where i can get a reliable sbc replacement unit

Hi, I'm a newbie. I ordered this because of a "service brake! visit workshop" message. I have a '04 e200 with 168k km. A lot of talk about sbc pump recalls online but apparently not applicable in Ireland, according to my local Merc dealer. To replace the pump will be as much as i've paid for the car, so buying this tool is my last resort. Should receive it within the next few days. Will keep you posted. Cheers!
