Maybe? First CLS550

Hi everybody!
I'm new here and have one major question... Should I take the dive into this: https://www.carfax.com/vehicle/WDDDJ7CB2AA162475 or something like it? From what I've seen, around $17k seems to be the going rate for a sub 65,000 mile car.

A little background: I have been tinkering with various cars for years and am no slouch with a wrench. My last project was a 2000 BMW 540i E39 6 speed sport. Fun as heck but a total project car. Not looking for a large project that will be up on stands every weekend. It will be driven almost exclusively on the highway as I live in the middle of nowhere. Not necessarily a daily driver though.

I'm looking for advice on weather to dive into a CLS550. Just love the look and have a friend with an S550. Fabulous automobile. I know the CLS is a bit smaller/lighter etc.
So, should I get a new toy? Is the one in the link a decent specimen? Any major things to look for when I take a drive?

Thanks for any assistance. I know there are probably going to e several questions for me.. have at it!

What's going on with the front? Almost looks like collapsed air springs.

Personally I wouldn't pay 18k for it, you could get a cls55 with that amount. However the car is really clean and low miles too, your call honestly if you like it. Lilbenz made a great point, ask them about the front air suspension. I don't believe it should be that low but it's unlikely there's any issue.
