Xenon headlight turned pink
Hello MBWORLD,
Just recently bought a 2006 CLS500 and noticed that the driver side xenon light is pink/purple in colour. Figured it was the bulb dying out (D2S). So I replaced both bulbs with new ones and still encountered the same issue. As I thought that it could be the ballast that's going bad, I swapped out the right side and left side ballasts and the problem is consistent after the swap. So I'm kind of stuck right now as I'm not very knowledgeable about Xenon lights. Has any one had this issue before or know what could be the root cause of it?
