Ticking noise coming from overhead cabin lights?

Ticking noise coming from overhead cabin lights?
I'm hearing a faint ticking sound coming from the overhead interior light / sunroof switch panel. It sounds like a leaf stuck in the blower or someone sticking a playcard in the spokes of a bicycle.
I only notice it after the car starts and a few mins after i shut it down.
it has nothing to do with the operation of the sunroof.

What is under that panel that could possibly tick? Is the rearview mirror supposed to auto adjust or have a motor?
