MIA srs control unit
Hi there , just bought my first mercedes Cls 500
bought it from an auction , which was dicey , but car seems to be ok, well most of it,
I have a SRS light on the dash , plugged in the scanner and it could not talk to the SRS module,
Then i checked the module location and found its not there, some one has taken it out,
There seems to be plenty on for sale, Can anyone identify from my VIn no what model i need.
and and i think i need to get it reprogammed to my vin, thx Pete

You will probably end up with the SRS light on due to VIN mismatch with EIS and also fault codes if the coding is different from the other vehicle. It can be easily done if you have offline Xentry/DAS or even with Vediamo.
