Proud of my CLS - Winter Wonderland Drive

So, I live in WI. Really enough said in regards to weather, but I wasn't planning on any shenanigans tonight. I work 2nd shift, so my drive into work was normal. Halfway through my shift it begins snowing, and by the time I have to drive home (40 miles, half freeway, half country highway and back roads) I'm looking at anywhere from 2 to 6 inches, and some areas even thicker because of snow drifts, plowing tracks, etc.

Somehow, this heavy RWD v8 managed to plow through all this crud and got me home with only a few sketchy situations, one of which was a hill climb I almost lost all momentum on. We muscled through just barely at the top.

Anyways, I'm just shocked at how well this thing did in such thick snowfall. if it weren't for the traction light constantly going off under accel, and the few areas where things got obviously hairy due to inclinations, I could have sworn this vehicle was AWD.

Anyone else been caught out in similar situations? good or bad?

Very happy with the purchase tonight.
