Hi guys hopefully someone can help me as I’m nearing the end
I have 2006 cls55 and air suspension kept lowering when parking up, I mean really low like wheel tucked into arch and now damaged the arch.
I have changed both front struts reman from Germany
Suspension Pump
Valve Block
Checked lines for leaks all good.
Now when I start in the morning it goes up quite quick but now the biggest issue is that when im driving for maybe 3-4 mins the front slams all the way down, I get the message car too low stop.
To me its like its dropping at the front and then pump keeps pumping to compensate.
It got so bad that it damaged my wing when it went low as I was turning.
i really am at a dead end at the moment and any help or insight will be hugely appreciated!
-Links from height sensors to control arm to stock length
-Link from height sensor in back to stock length
-Set Airmatic ride height using STAR or some advanced computer like Autel
And work from there. The ride height is set in the computer
Use STAR/Xentry to monitor air springs pressure. Sounds like low pressure before starting, then inflate to higher pressure after start, then pressure drops after a few minutes.
Alternatively, monitor the vehicle level screen to get the big picture then drill down to the air springs and sensor values.
Be sure to monitor reservoir pressure and compressor pressure build up time.
This just happened to me on my front left strut. The main difference is that you'll see my strut inflate, then drop back down repeatedly. I just ordered an Arnott replacement. Now I'm scared I may need more work since you already changed everything. I'll be checking this regularly to see if it addresses my issue.
