Strange battrery issues
Hello to everyone and happy holidays. Recently i've been having a strange issues with my cls350cdi (october 2009 with om642 engine). I have a red battery light without the visit workshop label. I have attached a thingy for the cigarette lighter that shows voltage. Under normal circumstances it shows anywhere from 13.9v to 14.3v. Red light comes completely randomly although i think it has something to do when i rev it (happened at overtake) or when car has been just started. Elsewhere i have no issues, no loss of power, car drives completely fine and never had starting issues ( i live in a mountain area and temps drop down to -10C and the car still starts completely fine even after staying off for 1-2 days).
Where should i start alternator, batteryes , control modules ?

Hello again, turns out alternator is going bad and is intermittent . Good thing i managed to get a new aftermarket one for a fair price... Now the thing im wondering is when changing the little f***er are there any special things to consider (maybe when disconecting the battery or so on? ) or should i just go and get a haynes manual for it
Cheers!
