On the list for a CLS500 in the US
i found this forum while doing a search on some updated info re the CLS. i ordered one here in houston at my local dealer about 2 months ago. i was told at the time that i'm #3 on the list.
they told me that they would call me about 2 months before my expected delivery date and i was wondering if the car is really supposed to reach US shores in january 2005 (as i seem to have read). if so, shouldnt they have contacted me already to pick my colors and options??? i see some people have already done that. they had initially told me that it was due in march and they would contact me in january some time.
should i contact the dealer or just wait?

also, i'm going to switzerland next week and hope to go to the dealer there to take some pics of a CLS in person (if they have one). i'll post pics for sure.

Just pay some extra shipping, then you can have it right away to enjoy the Christmas

Cls delivery.
I ordered one inTexas too. I have been informed that the first 10 cars for this dealership have a build date for January and delivery in February. As I am #12, I have build date for February and delivery in March. 1st demo will be on floor in January. My lease on clk55 2001 ends feb 9th so that stinks.

i have an appointment at 2pm today to order my specifics...they told me that they are getting some demo cars in January which will not really be for sale and that my car should arrive by mid februrary.
