So i bought cls 500, W219 2004, i constantly heard knocking from the rear shock absorber, and got it inspected by my mechanic and he told me it’s the rear right shock absorber. Yesterday i replaced it by my own, took 30 minutes of work and there isn’t something i can mess up. Even with the new shock absorber i can still hear the knocking and its very unsettling, i decided to check how it looks like on the left side and i can tell that the air strut looks completely diffrent. Could this be the cause? First photo is the rear right and second one is rear left
