Hi Everyone.

I just purchased a 2008, Mercedes Benz 320 CLS, CDI Coupe.

One of the first things i noticed was the stereo/GPS was outdated, and proceeded to purchase a new one from ebay. I entered my reg and vehicle details and ebay confirmed it was compatible.

After purchasing and dispatch, i received an email asking about the wiring system, stating i may now need to purchase some type of decoder or something.

The stereo arrived today, and I intend to have a professional install it, but before booking it in, i was hoping someone could advise as to wether or not i am required to purchase this, or do i have to attempt to remove the existing to find out.
