2009 Mercedes CLS 550

No communication

Hello folks new to the forum. Recently picked up my 2009 CLS 550 with just a hair over 100K running great with a few normal wear and tear issues that are being corrected. As I was doing some general maintenance fresh coils, plugs, thermostat, oil change, air filter, cabin filter, ambient temp sensor, tranny drain and fill with filter etc. Car runs like a bull. Even splurged and put and expensive free breathing cat back exhaust on it. Granted its a repo I grabbed for $3750 so no harm no foul. But back to the story all the work that has been done for about two weeks no sign of any problems. Go to jump in it to head to work without any warning it shuts down. I have all power and lights (new battery too mind you) everything has juice. I run my code reader it gives me a no communication to ECM.... Now I run through the four fuse boxes in the car, #1 Engine Bay, #2 Trunk, #3 Driver's side panel, #4 Passenger's side floor board. The SAM front and rear appear to be functioning. All fuses seem to be intact I replaced 1 or 2 that didn't even have anything to do with the ECM. My question is is there a PCM / ECM relay I am missing? Or by chance the PCM bit the dust, or maybe wiring harness is frayed somewhere. Or even a possibility of a fusible link that I may have missed? The car ran incredible before this "hiccup" could use a second set of eyes folks on this one. I may be overlooking something simple. But the only thing I am getting is NO COMMS with the PCM / ECM.... I guess I could check the 16 PIN connector as well to see if my voltage is right or even have power.
