2008 CLS 550 Not starting

2008 CLS 550 Not starting
The car just suddenly does not start anymore. I have a link of the video of the screeching sound it makes. Google Drive
I was just wondering if you guys have dealt with this kind of problem or have any suggestions about what the problem could be.
There is some informations that could be relevant to the problem.
The car had check engine light and code p0013 (problem with the variable valve timing (VVT) system in a vehicle) for at least 3 months. I was replacing exhaust camshaft adjuster magnet when I noticed that the cable(adapter) was broken. I am getting that cable tomorrow to replace it.
When I checked the tensioner belt it was stuck on rubber that is on power steering fluid reservoir and moved the rubber away, however the same problem persists. Was thinking if the started is broken but it does not sound like it.
Was also thinking about taking the belt off to check all the pulleys.
The day before this problem arised, the car was driven harshly in the snow. Eventually steering became harder on low rpms, but the problem just went away(did all the way left and right turns 5 times). The car did not seem to have any problems that day, but the next day in the freezing cold, the car did not start.
