Does anyone know what the difference between the "standard", "exclusive" and "nappa" leather??

 

standard has a typical rough looking texture to it while nappa is very smooth and soft. I dont know about exclusive though never actually touched it. Just dont know how strong the nappa is, id hate to have a scratch in it.

 

exclusive leather is nappa leather, but it's just used in more places, like the dash, doors, etc., whereas the regular nappa leather is just the seats...

 

I definitely prefer the softer Nappa leather, but I noticed that it's a $3900 (!!!) option for the SL500 (with no back seat). I can only imagine what the price will be on the CLS...$5000? I'll pass.
