2006 CLS500 Satellite Radio Receiver

i’ve owned and maintained my CLS500 since 2006. My satellite radio stopped working a few days ago, it simply now shows a message saying it is trying to connect to the satellite. I’ve tried everything I can think of as well as the folks at Sirius Radio service. It appears it is not receiving the signal. The MB folks said it might be the antenna itself, which is mounted on the trunk as it has always been. There has been no damage recently. Or they say it may be the Sirius receiver module, which is no longer available from MB anyway, but probably on the used market. Or maybe the Audio Gateway needs to be re-flashed.

I have been trying to locate the actual receiver unit in my car to find out the part number. I have been unsuccessful. I have look throughout the trunk (both left, right, and forward portions of the trunk) and behind that audio head end / comand unit in the dash. I have not found it anywhere.

Would someone please let me know where this module is located.

In case my VIN would be helpful to you in advising me, this is it: WDDDJ75X46A026946

thanks for your help.
