CLS 350 Loud engine noise

c219 cls 350
CLS 350 Loud engine noise
My car is making this really loud noise. I can't for
the life of me figure out what noise it is. It sounds like it's coming from where the timing chains meet the camshafts.
It's louder on the right than the left.
Has anyone ever heard anything like this?
I've looked up all sorts of noises engines and specifically the M272 can make but I couldn't find anything similar.
