I have a 2007 CLS 320cdi and the wiper motor has finally given up the goat.
I have managed to source a pretty new replacement motor but I was wondering if this is a DIY job to replace? I'm pretty handy with a socket set but don't want to start tinkering if I'm likely to come across any hidden issues.
Any guidance would be gratefully received.

Yep, not hard at all. Might need a blade puller (get one from the autoparts store on loan). Can be a PITA to get the cowl over it off...just a matter of wiggling it in the right way.
