Why No CLS-350 in the U.S?
Are they afraid that no-one will buy the E-350?
I can't afford the 500, but I can afford the 350(barely). Hopefully we'll get it in 2006.

MB wants to market the CLS as a notch above E and therefore don't want to offer the 3.5L yet. I suspect 3.5L will come in 1-2 yrs after the CLS intro.
This is marketing. Porsche Cayenne just released its V6 version for 2005. This subtle introduction doesn't draw criticism that the V6 is from VW and Cayenne can be had in "compromised" form.

E320 - Excellent 350.
C320 - Come on it is the same as E310 !!
How about this, how come the E200 in Jordan is the same as E320 in the US? They look alike, same everything. How come !!!

I'd rather have the newer and more efficient 350 than the old 500 POS Engine
And why should I pay GAs Guzzler tax when the enormo Suvs don't? MBZ has to think a little more eco-friendly.
