Parking Assist experiences?

hello all

tried the parking assist today. First of all, it doesnt pick up all the empty parking spots, only those between other cars. Second it recognizes strange parking spots that dont exist.

Is it time for Software update or is parking assist just not reliable?

would only work perfectly if there is a spot between two cars. If it's empty beside or at one of the spots, don't count on it to work. The system isn't that smart to assist in every situation. I mainly only use it for tight parallel parking spots in downtown where spots are tight.

The radar is looking for an empty space between cars. It 's always annoying that it does not read the parking line.
Also it takes a longer time to park compared to a human does lol.
The parking assist is good only if the condition meets.

From Friday I have my new E400d and unfortunately, Remote Parking App does not work with my car. It loose conection, or it does not get conection completly. My handy is Samsung Galaxy Note9, just may be 3 months old. So both is new, both is not bad quality, but they dont work as expected. And the app is one of strongly wanted by me.

Unless I'm in shopping malls with standard-sized lots + nothing to do such as waiting for my wife, I wouldn't even consider using this feature.
The sensors are way too sensitive and auto braking too intrusive; got myself and wife freaked out couple of times with the braking. Totally stopped using it.
