I just bought a new CLS450

I just purchased a new CLS 450 - black exterior with the burgundy interior. I pick it up next Saturday. I traded in my 2017 C43 AMG Cabriolet which has been a really great car. I can't wait.

No heated steering wheel

In the small print, although a heated steering wheel is meant to be a standard feature on this car, if you choose the sport package and have the flat-bottomed steering wheel, you lose the heated steering wheel. This was something the dealer did not know about.

Interesting. I did not build a 450, but in looking at it some of the steering wheel options online it deleted the heated wheel. My CLS 53 has a flat bottom wheel and it is heated. Must be a model specific problem. I was never a big fan of the heated wheel until I owned one. Even here in fairly warm NC it is nice to have in the winter. In a cold climate it would be even nicer.

Sabates in South Charlotte. Was looking at the CLS 63 (2017) they had -it was amazing - but loved the updates in the 2019. They had an Edition 1 so I picked it up. Think it was the better choice for me.

How do you like the car so far?

My 2020 CLS450C has 600 miles on it but has already burnt about 1/2 quart of oil, which is way excessive. What is the oil consumption on your CLS?

Best, elmalo
