C257 350d 2018 goes to limp mode (no error codes)
Hi all,
I am getting crazy. Each day, my CLS350d 2018 with 50.000 Km goes to limp mode while driving. Then I can drive it only up to 3000 rpm, and 80 Km/h. I restart the car and problem if fixed for a 30 minutes and same story again.
Car was on a diagnostic few times, even on STAR diagnostic while drive but no error codes.
Anyone have an idea?

Hi,
Had the same problem, for my car was the oil pump inside the engine.
Engine out completly, a lot of changes in there, total cost 5200 eur and 2 weekd of work
Luckily I was covered by my assurance - had the waranty card.
I will search for more details.

I had a ML a few years ago a 2014 model and it used to go in to limp home mode. Sometimes they said it could do it from dirty sensors. Maybe that might help you.
It annoyed me and i had only done like 50-60,000 km so i sold it and bought the E class I have now.
It’s annoying and i was never satisfied with the dealers reasoning.
