Main display bright reflection on left driver glass

Main display bright reflection on left driver glass
The main display reflection on my left driver glass is always big (Car is brand new and just got a tint from a Mercedes dealer). I was driving in the night tonite and came at a stop sign, I just did not see the black car in dark coming on the left making a left turn. The whole main color display had the same size reflection on my driver-side class window and I thought the road was clear for me to go. I almost had an accident. Has anyone experienced this? or its just my old age (58)?

Sample picture attached. I know the inside ambient light is bright but its because I was playing with different colors today. I will look for a setting to DIM the panel lights and see if that helps.

That is indeed strange. My 2017 has never reflected the dash like that but then again it is an analog display. This does not appear to be a problem peculiar to one car. All new CLS vehicles should display that reflection. I have on order a 2021 and if looks like that I am not sure I will accept delivery. It is not only dangerous, as your experience shows, it is a constant distraction.
