Audio Upgrade Question
Hello all, pleasure to move here. I have have 2 questions about adding a sub in the trunk.
1. Will the 12V battery in the trunk efficient to supply a 500W JL amp? Or should I run a line from engine compartment?
2. Does anyone have the wiring diagram of the amp in the trunk?

It's been a while since I was into car audio systems but I would think having a line directly from battery would be the best (where ever the battery is) and make sure it's big enough gauge wire. I would also recommend putting a capacitor so when that base hits, it doesn't strain on the battery. Only thing I would caution you is MB has lots of electronic components so be very careful not to short anything.
