AMG FOR ME?

So I just bought a 23,000 mile AMG 53 the other day, and because i'm an idiot i didn't drive another one before purchasing this one. I did drive a CLS 450 and thought that this car could only be better. The car IS amazing, beautiful, fast, with an awesome 1200 watt sound system.... but I have 2 gripes, on of which I can fix, the other is what i'm asking about. The first gripe is the front seats.... man these seats are NOT comfortable, compared to the 450, these seats are like bricks and meant for a VERY skinny man or slim woman... WTF...? i'm going to call some wrecking yards to see if I can swap for same color full massaging CLS 450 seats.... the second gripe is the road noise... this car is FAR noisier that any other Mercedes i've driven. I have a 2021 F250 on 35 inch mud tires and the road noise is less in that cabin. Whats the deal? The car has the acoustic comfort package and still... every bump is echoed through the cabin, any pavement that is not baby smooth is rumbling in my ears. The noise seems like the trunk is echoing the road noise and filling the cabin... I drove this car home to Vegas from Oregon and man I was happy to get out of it when I got home. maybe a better description is, when not on a perfectly smooth new asphalt road it sounds like a wheel bearing is grinding and echoing through the cabin... any ideas? It is Benz CPO, but I want to have an idea before I go to the dealer to have them look at it... i've has noisy vehicles before and have found that the manufacturers have an acceptable DB rating for each car. Does anyone know that number for the cabin of a 53?

Also, I cant find production stats for this platform Mercedes, does anyone know how many 2019 AMG 53's were made? How many were shipped to the states, and how many have what colors and/or other options? Id love to know if they are rare at all.... I feel like mines pretty loaded as i couldn't find another with all these options:

Ouch sounds like buyers remorse? Wish you got the CLS450. When in doubt about ride quality always avoid the AMG model.

I own a 450 4matic. I would recommend looking at the rear tires to see if they are worn and chopped on the inside of the tread. Mine was I replaced them and had a wheel alignment done. The car is quiet now.

Agreed, first thing to look at is inner tire wear/feathering, as it's usually uneven on Mercedes models.

It’s tires. Almost sure of it. They wear much sooner on AMG’s, usually half the stated life. I would replace first, and while replacing go to a shop with a Hunter Roadforce balance, if that doesn’t solve it then go to the dealer and check alignment. All are items that are good to do anyways after getting a used car as a matter of course and I wouldn’t say the money would be wasted.

Yep these cars are just too loud over rough pavement. I accept the trade off for the sporty ride. On smooth roads it is beautiful. Just harsh noises over significant bumps etc. I am sure non-run flats would help significantly. Just have to work out the spare (available kits).
