Downsizing 20" wheels to 19". Comments?
Seeking comments from those who have made the switch from 20” summer run-flats to 19” all-season non-run-flats.
My recently acquired 2022 CLS450 came from the Southwestern US, with 20” summer run-flat tires. These summer tires aren’t compatible with the cold Pacific NW winters and will have to be replaced.
After reviewing the comments regarding the 20” wheels, I’m considering switching to 19” wheels. All-season tires are a given. The staggered tire size setup would remain.
Also considering converting to non-run-flats. Would carry a mobility kit if I go that route.
Lastly, for those who downsized their wheels, what happened with the old 20” wheels? Kept? Sold?
