Not to sure if I overlooked this, but is there anyway to manually adjust this unit, as with the older module came with a remote option...? personally I like the idea of being able to raise my car up with the touch of a button when people get in it, had nightmares in my old car ; )

All RENNtech units allow you to manual adjust the height along with the use of the factory ride height.

any of the lowering modules out on the market today will allow you to use the factory raise and lower option. The difference is that after you are are lowered with a lowering module, the point of reference for the vehicle raise and lower have changed.

The new version 3 RENNtech unit, give you complete flexibility to lower a vehicle 5mm or 6 inches. the Version 3 comes with a ELM that can be plugged into a computer via USB cable, and you can change and save different ride heights from it.

You can also get a remote for the V3, or a purchase a handheld laptop for $300.

To change the settings yes, there is no more knob, but there is also no more max setting. you can lower or raise as much as you want. the new module comes with a USB cable and CD that you would install into your labtop/ Computer

I assume if you get the remote, the v3 can still be raised or lowered on the fly? Other than being able to dump the car lower when parked, is there any advantage of a v3 with remote over a v2 with remote?

the advantage of the V3 is that the wiring is slightly simplier, and is easier to remember which wire needs to go where if you are returning it back to stock. The V3 also allows you to lower your vehicle to any level.

The disadvantage over the V2 is that you can not change the height on the actual unit like on the v2.

Anytime you want to change the height on the V3, you will either need to use the remote, or plug in your labtop.
