Wanted to know i do recall a cls55 in red possibly mars red for sale throuh ebay from a dealer. I beleive it was auto connection, but not exactly sure.

I know they made some mars red or a bright red E55 but wasnt sure what its called and was it a special edition?

Please if you could shed some light i am intereted in acquiring one!

I've only heard of a Barolo Red, which is a dark, maroonish red as standard color for the 55's.

never seen a Mars Red CLS55, but I know you could special order it so that car MAY exist.

I know they made an E55 in mars red. It maybe they made a presidential edition as well. I might just call M-Benz NA o try and find out any info. Thanks for the help thus far.

The E55 presidents edition was rare, it had CF interior and it was not mars red. They also had a CLS55 presidents edition that had BRIGHT RED leather... exterior was black though. Saw the MBUSA president driving it on Garden State pkwy :-)

I have a bright mars red CLS55. I was told there were only 3 ever shiped to the US. Let me know if you are still looking for a car or info. I can send pics if you like. I have searched for the other 2 but no one has seen or can find out if any are out there. Car is awesome.

Thank you very much,I bought it in 2007 because it was red,I dont know if it will help or hurt the resale. I do know its very rare. Like to know if the info i have from research is correct of 3 red CLS's shipped to the US. I cant seem to verify. Not that it matters,I love the car.

they even call that barlo red metalic in the add......looks like mars red to me.

I know what you mean color wise. I own a teal 560SEC you can guess what my SEC friends say about that. They mostly have black some silver but I am the only teal one. I feel as though the color is where it is at to build what is different. The sedan is Ice Blue and belonged to Perry Como before I got it. Nice color but once again not a typical color.
