SL 1 FIN GRILLE ON CLS
You folks like this 1 fin SL style grille or should I keep the 2 fins grille. I'm leaning towards putting back the 2 fins. I'll give it a couples more week to see if it grows on me.

With the CLS headlights, it really gives it an SL look in the front. I agree pics further back would be better to tell, but i like it as well.
Is that an actual SL grille modified to fit, or SL style?

I'll take some more pictures from further back. The grille is actually made for the CLS. They had all chrome black, white and silver grille as well. Maybe now I can purchase a CF front lip without painting it white since it will contract with the grille. Thoughts?

the CF lip in the front would look good and match the black, but i think there needs to be something in the rear to balance it out. a CF rear lip, spoiler, something like that. Im all about symmetry and balance of sorts. But IMO, the chrome on that grille might look kinda out of place with the CF front lip. That might have to get painted black too, and leave just the star chrome.

both look good, but im my opinion the 2 fin is better because the 1 fin terminates in the hood/bumper seam. This seems to draw your eye to the seam rather than the 2 fin which avoids hitting the seam. Also note on the SL that the 1 fin avoids that seam which is by design. Just my $.02.

just picked one up from ebay for my diamond white. Came super fast in three pieces can anyone tell me how to put it together please. the grill itself, the round middle and the chrome benz logo. thanks in advance

Single fin makes it look like a new model. That with a carbon front lip like Rorfinancial's cls looks incredible.
