CLS55 vs E55 wheel fitment question

CLS55 vs E55 wheel fitment question
Do the wheel fitments for an E55 fit a CLS55 without issue? I am looking at buying a set from a member who bought them for an E55, but did not end up using them. Will they fit on a CLS55 with P030? They are 19" RS wheels.

CLS wheels have an ET of 25 front and 28 Rear, so they have a wider track than E's.
infact you oftenly find E-class people using CLS's wheels ..
if you'll do the contrary, it is highly probable that the inner side of the wheel will contact with braces ...

The front will be no problem. The rears will most likely need a 10mm spacer as they will sit it too far and most likely hit the caliper. If you use a hubcentric spacer, you should be good! Find out what offsets and widths the wheels on the E55 are and I can help you figure the rest out.

I would not be so sure even for front wheels,
especially if your going with aftermarket wheels
look here how close the caliper is (and the same the inside where braces are)
and yes, this is not an OEM wheel, but its ET is still 25 as the oem value
and further, it's even a bit larger 9" vs 8.5" stock ...
