Book recommendation
I received a very nice hardbound book as a gift for my birthday and it is titled Daimler & Benz: The Complete History.
The Birth and Evolution of the Mercedes-Benz
This book has about everything that you need to know about the history of Daimler, Benz, Maybach, etc. It can be purchased from www.smithsonianstore.com
Thought some may be interested.

Thanks for the recommendation. Two books that I'd like to purchase are:
1. Mercedes (2-Volumes in 1 Book) by Rainer W. Schlegelmilch. Hartmut Lehbrink, and Rainer W Schlegelmilch.
2. Enduring Passion: The Story of the Mercedes-Benz Brand by Leslie Butterfield.
Has anyone reviewed those books already ? Comments ?

I just finished reading .....
the book by Adler. I thought it did a very good job up to about 1995. I just found the coverage on the newer cars (except for the Maybach's) to have less depth.
I have the two-volume set also. Haven't read it yet but I found a great deal on it and added it to my collection. Has the appearance of a "coffee table" book because of the great photo's.
Sorry, but I am not familiar with the third book.
