Speaking of Nude Women....
Does anyone remember a hood ornament done in the mid-late 80's, in the style of the Mercedes Star, of a nude woman with her arms upward and her legs spread to form the Star?
They were produced in the UK.
I saw one at Beaulieu around 87 to 91 but can't remember who produced them. As I recall they were made to order out of SS or Sterling Sliver, price was pretty high - somewhere around GBP 300 at the time.
Anyway, I think M-B put a stop to it real quick. Too bad, it was a work of art.
