What to make of this one
I am new to the forum, but bought my first MB from my father in law a few years ago and have noticed some unusual features. Hoping someone will shed some light on them.
The car has what I was told is a factory pinstripe signed by the MB master painter. It also has a back seat and euro headlights. I was told this car was ordered by someone in LA who owned it for 5 years and then sold to a MB.org rep(?). His wife apparently drove the car for some time who sold it to my father-in-law. I should have looked further into this before now as he (FIL) has passed.
I have included some pictures. This car also came with a complete mechanism to raise and lower the roof onto the car...
